Lake Yamanaka(山中湖)

Lake Yamanaka is the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes and the second most developed lake behind Lake Kawaguchi.

Lake Yamanaka is popular among Japanese outdoor sports enthusiasts who enjoy boating, fishing, water skiing, wind surfing and other water sports on the lake, as well as camping, tennis and other activities along its shores. There are a few public hot springs baths available such as  "Benifuji no Yu(Hoto spring of Red Mt. Fuji)".

(1)(2) are especially good in Autumn Leaves season, (3)is good to see inverted image of Mt. Fuji reflected in the lake,(4) you can meet with a lot of swans,(5)very panoramic view of Mt.Fuji & Lake Yamanaka,(6)You can see beautiful flowers of season  with Mt. Fuji in the back.

Hananomiyako (Flower Town) Park(花の都公園)

Hananomiyako Park is located just north of the west end of Lake Yamanaka. They grow many kinds of flowers of season such as sunflower, cosmos, daisy, viola, tulip, etc. in 300,000 square meters of area  on plateau of 1,000 meters above sea level. These flowers can be seen together with Mt. Fuji in the background.
In addition, You can enjoy waterfall and three huge waterwheels in Aquazone. There is also a cave of lava tree formed by Mt.Fuji eruption.
